Birds, Botanicals and Brush Strokes
This series was a long time coming in some ways. It’s funny how things work out, and unexpected trials can carve out the space for things to exist. How new challenges and necessities can unexpectedly wipe clean creative roadblocks. I was forced out of my regular studio, a space I built some years ago, and onto the dining room table while recovering from an injury. And what started out as a loss, turned into a gain by the limited mediums that could come with me into our home environment. Being present, and willing to embrace change can transform rough road into opportunities.
