Columbus College of Art & Design, 1987-1989, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, 1990-1992. Spent 1993 in 2 Soto Zen temples in Japan and a ceramic/sculptural apprenticeship with Kakuho Saito-san in Fukui Prefecture. Moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1995, after a coast to coast road trip through the US.
Exhibitions and projects
2010 Launched a fine art stationery line featuring charcoal drawings, the Bark Animal collection and the nest building series. Wild Pulp was stocked in shops and natural history museums throughout the U.S. and Canada. All cards were printed on 100% post-consumer waste paper which utilized wind energy for production, and prints were made in house with archival pigment ink on cotton rag papers.
